I'm Samith Reddy, a backend and AI engineer studying Computer Science at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore.
I work with Inquinion Labs on a contract basis, building production backend systems and extending existing AI model harnesses.
Outside that work, I explore payment reliability, distributed systems, and filesystems through projects in Go, Python, and Rust. I like understanding what happens after the first successful run: when a request arrives twice, a process restarts, or data needs to expire.
I also build tools for problems closer to home. On-Duty-Amrita granted on-duty attendance for over 5,000 students during a college fest in under 10 days, checking each student's timetable and active class slots.

Problem: A payment webhook can arrive late, conflict with gateway state, or fail to reach the merchant.
Implementation: A Go service verifies gateway signals, schedules status checks in PostgreSQL, and delivers signed callbacks through a transactional outbox. The source includes PayU and Razorpay adapters.
Tradeoff: PostgreSQL keeps job state and business updates together. Callback delivery can repeat, so the merchant must deduplicate by idempotency key.
